What Kids Will Do
Throughout the week, participants will have opportunities to:
-
Explore characters and help shape scenes using a prepared script.
-
Try acting, improvisation, and directing.
-
Create storyboards and props.
-
Learn basic filming techniques using an iPhone provided by LDI Pro.
-
Explore how sound and editing help bring a film together.
-
Enjoy games, movement, and time to connect with other kids.
Activities give kids a chance to share ideas, listen to others, solve problems, and practice teamwork. No prior acting or filmmaking experience is required.
The Finished Film
Children will collaborate on one short film, with opportunities to contribute in different roles. Each child will receive a digital copy of the finished group film after the program.
The film may include participating children’s images and voices. Permission details will be included in the parent/guardian release form.
What to Bring
Please send your child with a packed lunch and clothing suitable for movement and hands-on activities. Water is provided.
LDI Pro provides the filmmaking equipment. Children do not need to bring an iPhone or other filming equipment.
Please tell us about allergies, medical needs, or support needs during registration so we can discuss arrangements before the program begins.
Program Team
The program is led by Anne Mulhall, founder of LDI Pro, casting director, and acting coach, with additional program staff. Instructor introductions are available on the main program page.
Registration & Payment
Complete one registration form per child. After reviewing your submission, we’ll email payment instructions and the required parent/guardian release form.
Payment is accepted by Venmo, Zelle, or check. Submitting the registration form does not confirm enrollment. Your child’s place is confirmed once payment and the completed release form have been received.
